Description

Quality inspectors check and certify the compliance of products or pieces of final equipment. This job is extremely important in terms of safety. They ensure compliance with the reference systems and quality and safety standards in force, and recommend areas for improvement to guarantee product reliability and safety.

Tasks

  • Defining and applying control parameters in line with the technical documents, standards and guidelines in force.
  • Carrying out rigorous checks to verify the compliance of the final product or equipment.
  • Identifying and reporting any functional, contractual or regulatory non-compliances.
  • Checking the completeness, accuracy and traceability of quality control documents, and ensuring that they are regularly updated.
  • Liaising with support services, production and, if necessary, external experts in order to analyse non-compliances and propose corrective actions.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures, as well as safety and quality standards.

This course aims to prepare trainees for the job of Quality Inspector. The course content is designed to give trainees the skills needed to become a Quality Inspector, in order to validate the 5 specialisations required for the French Professional Qualification in Metallurgy (CQPM) "Quality Inspector" - MQ 2015 11 31 0306 R. À L'ISSU DE LA FORMATION, LES APPRENANTS SONT CAPABLES DE :

  • Procéder à des contrôles et attester de la conformité d’un produit ou d’un équipement.
  • Gérer la documentation associée au contrôle qualité.
  • Traiter une non-conformité dans sa globalité.
  • Préconiser les axes d’amélioration dans le cadre de son activité.
  • Assurer l’interface entre les services décisionnels (bureau d’études, bureau préparation/Méthodes, service qualité…) et la production.
