Description

Aircraft Cabin Integrators are responsible for assembling, installing and checking the components of an aircraft cabin, such as seats, electrical systems, lighting, interior decoration and other specific equipment. They ensure that all the different components are integrated in compliance with the quality and safety standards and technical specifications.

Tasks

  • Assembling and installing cabin equipment and fittings in accordance with technical drawings and procedures.
  • Checking the compliance of the installations and carry out the requisite tests.
  • Liaising with the design, production and quality control teams.
  • Diagnosing and resolving technical problems encountered during integration.
  • Ensuring production deadlines are met, while guaranteeing the quality of the work carried out

Goals

The content of the training course is designed to teach trainees the skills needed to become an Aircraft Cabin Integrator, in order to validate the 6 specialisations required for the French Professional Qualification in Metallurgy (CQPM) "Aircraft Cabin Integrator" - MQ 2010 0289. This will provide you with detailed information about the certification.

At the end of the course, trainees will be able to:

  • Prepare, organise and identify their work in the aircraft.
  • Install systems to protect the components that need to be integrated and the aircraft environment.
  • Transport the components to the work area in the aircraft.
  • Position, assemble, adjust, fix and/or dismantle components in the aircraft.
  • Route and connect the different systems (water, air, oxygen, electricity, electric bonding, etc.) in the aircraft.

Prerequisites

Candidates must be interested in manual trades in the aeronautical industry.

  • French: Equivalent competence level "Elementary A2" (CEFR Global scale of common reference levels for skills)
  • Mathematics: Equivalent level of competence to "Cycle 3" according to the French government gazette (Bulletin Officiel) of 26/11/2015.
